My lower plate held through dinner.
I'd given up on the lower plate years ago.Oragel held through lunch and then dinner. I sat there thinking, so this is what everyone else feels like.
No paste in my pocket anymore.
Six years of carrying a tube everywhere I went.Put this in on a Sunday night and by Wednesday I realized I hadn't touched it once. Left the tube at home.
I stopped checking it with my tongue.
I didn't even notice I'd stopped doing it.Caught myself halfway through a phone call not thinking about my mouth at all. Hadn't happened in years.
It peels out in one piece.
No more scrubbing my gums every night. That was the part I hated most. Ten minutes at the sink with a brush, gone. It lifts right out and there's nothing left.

Independent Clinician Evaluation
Clinicians receive product samples and are never compensated to submit evaluations.
Residual ridge resorption is a continuous biological process that begins immediately after tooth extraction. Tallgren's 25-year longitudinal study confirmed that the alveolar ridge shrinks progressively, with the most significant reduction occurring in the first year and the mandibular ridge resorbing several times faster than the maxillary ridge.
The denture is fabricated to match the ridge on the day the impression is taken. As the ridge resorbs, a gap develops between the plate and the tissue. Adhesive cream is a surface bond. It was designed to enhance the seal between two surfaces that are already in contact. It was never designed to bridge a structural gap.
A dental-grade thermoplastic that physically occupies the space left by resorption addresses the fit at the source. This is consistent with prosthetic principles taught in Italian dental programs, where addressing the fit is prioritized over masking the gap with adhesive.
The Oragel formulation from Vossi is the one I began recommending to my own patients. The thermoplastic grade and softening behavior are consistent with clinical-use materials, and the patient compliance has been noticeably higher than with any adhesive I have prescribed. Most of them stop purchasing cream entirely within the first two weeks.
The published literature is clear on one point: adhesive cream was never intended to compensate for a poorly fitting denture. The Journal of International Oral Health states that denture adhesives should not be used as a method to improve retention in an improperly fabricated or ill-fitting prosthesis.
Yet this is precisely how most patients end up using it. The ridge changes, the fit degrades, and the patient is told to apply more adhesive rather than address the fit. This is not a treatment. It is symptom management that guarantees the patient returns for more adhesive.
A thermoplastic relining material that the patient can reapply at home as the ridge changes represents a fundamentally different approach. It restores the contact between plate and tissue rather than attempting to bond across a space that adhesive was never formulated to bridge.
I started recommending the Oragel formulation from Vossi after evaluating the material in my own clinic. The softening point and dimensional stability are appropriate for at-home use, which is not something I can say about most consumer thermoplastic products I have tested. Several of my long-term adhesive patients have transitioned to it completely, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

The approach Italian clinics use
A Denture That Stays Put — Without the Daily Adhesive Mess.
Adhesive cream tries to glue your denture to a ridge that's no longer the same shape. Oragel takes a different approach. It's a dental-grade thermoplastic that fills the gap underneath, so your plate sits flush again. Not adhesion. Shape.
- Fills the gap paste can't cross
- Peels out clean, no residue to scrub
- Confidence while eating, talking, and laughing

How it works
Made to fill the gap cream can't.
Adhesive cream only bonds surfaces that are already touching. As your ridge shrinks, a gap opens under the plate and paste can't cross it. Vossi Denture Gel is a dental-grade thermoplastic that molds into that gap and holds its shape, giving you a fit that stays put instead of one you have to keep rebuilding.

What customers say
Real reviews from real denture wearers.
"Eight years of paste and my lower plate still lifted every time I talked. I'd given up on it. The first night with Vossi, it just sat there. I ate dinner without checking it once. I'm not covering my mouth when I laugh anymore. That's what matters to me."
"Ate steak at my grandson's wedding. First time in years I didn't excuse myself to reapply. That's the whole review."
"My bottom plate lifted every time I talked. Paste never fixed it. This is the first thing that actually keeps it down."
"No more scrubbing gunk off the roof of my mouth at night. It peels out in one piece. That alone was worth it."
"I threw out the tube I kept in my purse. Haven't needed it once in six weeks."
"Had corn on the cob at the cookout. My wife looked at me like I'd lost my mind. Nothing moved."
"My dentist wanted $650 for another reline. This cost less than a month of Fixodent and it fits better."
"I hosted Sunday dinner again and sat down with everyone. I forgot it was even in there."

How to Apply Oragel
A Step by Step Guide:
Warm the tube
Immerse the tube in warm water (max 60°C / 140°F) for a few minutes. If already pierced, screw the cap on tight before immersing. While it warms, clean your denture with soap and water, brush it, and dry it completely. It must be dry for a proper seal
Open the tube
Pierce the seal with the pointed tip of the cap, creating a wide hole so the gel flows freely. If it’s still too thick, recap and warm the tube again.
Dispense the gel
Squeeze near the fold and push out a ball about the size of a large cherry. After a few applications you’ll dial in the right amount.
Spread, shape, and seal
Using both thumbs, press and spread the gel into an even layer across the entire surface of the denture. Press firmly along all edges for stronger suction. For lower dentures, roll the gel into a strip first, then spread and press along the edges with your fingers.
Insert the denture
Moisten your mouth before inserting. Once seated, close your teeth and press firmly with your lips to set it in place. Any excess will push out from the edges.
Trim the excess
Rinse the denture under cold water for a few minutes, then trim any overflow along the edges with small scissors. Your denture is now ready to use.
Removing old gel
Soak your denture in warm water (max 60°C / 140°F) for 5 minutes, then peel off the old material. Never use boiling water. Use a blunt tool like a teaspoon if needed to avoid scratching.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not at all. Every Vossi order is a single purchase. No recurring charges.
Absolutely, take them out, clean them as normal, and put them back in. You do not lose the secure fit, and you do not need to reapply every single time. The gel only needs to be replaced once a week.
Lift it from the edge like you normally do and air breaks the seal. Chewing works the opposite way, pressing the denture down and tightening the grip, so an apple won't loosen it. The gel comes out on the denture in one piece, so you rinse, brush, soak, and reseat it in the morning.
Yes, 100% safe. Vossi was developed by dental experts and contains no harmful ingredients. It has been tested for daily use without irritation.
Regular adhesive creams only stick to the surface of your dentures, which is why they fail by lunchtime. Vossi fills the actual gap between your jaw and denture, creating a vacuum grip that holds all day.
Not at all. Vossi has no sticky taste, no chalky feeling, and no unpleasant aftertaste. Once it is in, you genuinely forget it is there.
Most customers feel the difference from the very first application. You will be able to eat, talk, and laugh with confidence the same day Vossi arrives.
One tube of Vossi typically lasts a month of daily use, since you only need a thin layer per application. That makes it dramatically cheaper than going through tubes of adhesive cream every week.
